As a Psyvivor, you'll combo psychic attacks, gunplay and melee for max XP per run. Earning and spending XP increases Reputation (RP) allowing for more expensive purchases on future runs. Dying ends your run and you'll choose whether to restart with your XP or your tech.
The randomly generated Hallucymulation is cityscape and mountain range - sometimes overlapping - but always hostile. The enemy is always building defenses for trespassers, troops for attacks, and vehicles for troops - thwart these defenses, destroy these troops, and appropriate these vehicles.
Upgrade your psychic blast into a devasting series of bolts or see how many destrux you can learn. Improve your speed and melee or fire more guns at once. Choose which power is most super to you and unlock its surprises. Earn and upgrade Badges to gain stat bonuses.
Brutal close quarters combat resolved with a simple matching game that sends a damage-building fight tearing through the environment like a freight train until the winner wins and the loser flies. Triggered when attempting a ranged attack too close, so keep your distance when firing... or don't! Some elements reward you for it, but some will punish you.
Search and fight for intel (mission breadcrumbs) and pickups (lives, health, nanergy, weapons, heavy weapons, spex, psych-ups, nanorbs and enemy abilities). Upgraded stats allow tinkering with pickups, such as adding destrux effects to your melee, blast effects to your gun, and guns to your vehicle.
PvP supports modes of 1v1, 3v3, 6v6, and12-player FFA. Outside the safety of Decimal Point, up to six players can attempt the PVE campaign, which is designed to increase health and number of baddies with more players. And then there's The Decimal where seasoned campaign players can 6v6v6v6vE.
